Dasharn's volcano and mudslide information.

1 A volcano is a mountain that opens downward to a pool of
molten rock below the surface of the earth. when pressure
builds up eruptions occur.






2 In an eruption, gases and rock shoot up through the opening
and spill over or fill the air with lava fragments. Eruptions can
becomes lava flows, hot ash flows, mudslides, avalanches, falling ash and flood.







3 The danger area around a volcano covers about a 20 mile  radius.

On last week Thursday Glenbrae School  had a powhiri Len Brown the Mayor of Auckland came to Glenbrae School even Nick Smith the Minister of  Housing New Zealand and lots different of other people from other places like Maori Television and things like that.

Even some from Glenbrae School did a haka those people who came to Glenbrae School like some kids from room 9 and room 10 but everybody else were sitting down inside the hall .

Then the lady was welcoming in the vistors  and then when they all came by women than men then they sat down on the chairs and the parents were sitting on the other side facing the visitors.

Then Len Brown was saying hello in Maori language and talking about the people who works for different companies and then he said should sing a song called Te Aroha.

Then Len Brown said I will give it over to Nick Smith then Nick Smith welcomed himself to our us then he started to talk about Housing New Zealand and why they have to take down houses and making them move to different places and areas.
